BLUE WIDOW
Strain name:
Blue Widow
Genetics:
Blueberry x White Widow
Strain type:
Sativa/Indica hybrid
Flowering time:
50-56 days
Yield:
Medium
Growth Structure:
This strain is a nice hybrid with more of a sativa dominant growth structure with long internode spacing and somewhat sporadic branching.
Appearance:
The leaves stays a light green color throughout its entire life cycle. The buds are firm and tear drop shaped and the nice dusting of trichomes give these buds a 'soft' textured look. With lower temperatures these buds can be coaxed to turn a bluish color.
Bouquet:
This strain absolutely wreaks of fresh, tangy blueberries, only better! The smell is sharp and extremely potent. Any garden it occupies will stink like crazy with its sweet, creamy blueberry smell. We personally feel that this particular strain has one of the best terpene profiles out of any on planet Earth. It is our personal choice as the #1 best smelling strain of all time. We would be perfectly content if we could smell this strain 24 hours a day.
Flavors:
Very sweet, fresh blueberry taste with a smooth, creamy exhale.
Effects:
Euphoric high which can cause paranoia in some, but also allows one to stay active for the day.
Medical uses:
Reduces depression, nausea, inflammation, insomnia, anxiety, irritability, agitation, stress, seizures, heartburn, acid reflux, high blood pressure, blood lipid levels, glycemia, cholesterol, and glaucoma. Relieves headaches and migraines. Stimulates appetite. Increases focus, alertness, energy, and creativity.
Growing tips:
When flowering, the branches on the lower half of the plant typically don't produce very solid buds as they tend to be somewhat wispy, so it is recommended to trim off all of the unnecessary skinny branches from the bottom half of the plant so the plant can more efficiently direct its energy on the branches receiving the most light up top. Also, with this strains quick flowering time it doesn't have any obvious final push at the end of its flowering cycle, so when its done growing, its done.
